The SEDHCC Scholars Program is a scholarship awarded to graduating high school
seniors and continuing education college students. The purpose of the program is to
create a college-going culture in the Pleasant Grove and greater southeast Dallas
community. The Program funds tuition cost for one year towards college credit,
continuing education and/or workforce certification. 15+ students are selected each
year. It has supported 186 students to date since its program was initiated in 2012.
Scholarships totaling more than $200 thousand have been awarded thanks to continued
support by our generous donors.
